BLACKPINK's 'Ddu-du Ddu-du' surpasses 1.5 billion YouTube views, setting new record for K-pop group

South Korean all-female group BLACKPINK has become the first K-pop group to top 1.5 billion views on YouTube with its music video for "Ddu-du Ddu-du," its management agency said Wednesday. The 2018 hit broke the record at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on YouTube, YG Entertainment said, around 15 months after it became the first music video by a K-pop group to surpass the 1 billion mark in November 2019.
