BTS’s Suga Reveals The Genius Process Behind His Songwriting
The BTS members are heavily involved in songwriting, especially Suga. In BTS’s recent “BE-hind Story” interview, Suga spoke briefly about his songwriting process.
In the interview, Suga was asked, “What is the most important part when it comes to songwriting for you? And when you make songs, where do you get your motive from? From what kinds of situations?”
Suga then honestly said that he doesn’t really write songs because he thinks he should and that a lot of times, he will write songs because he’s bored!
While Suga does, of course, write songs under a deadline, too, there are times where Suga would be in the studio and start writing songs because there’s nothing else to do.
When asked what he prioritizes when making a song, Suga shared that he usually makes the beat first.
After making the beat, Suga starts working on the melody, then starts writing the lyrics.
