Former Girls’ Generation’s Jessica Launches Her Very Own Restaurant – Here’s How The Food And Prices Are Looking
Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica is not only a singer, but also a performer, author, designer, brand director, vlogger. Now it looks like she can add restauranteur to the list! Jessica has recently launched her own restaurant on the second floor of her Blanc & Eclare flagship store in Chungdam-dong, Seoul.
Named Clareau, the restaurant is accessible through the main lobby of her clothing store. A bright airy space awaits you when you step in.
It is said that Jessica personally designed the interior herself. The bathroom certainly reflects her style with the floral wallpaper.
The rest of the restaurant is kept minimal and chic.
As Jessica is a big fan of wine, the restaurant also features an open wine cellar and a wine glass chandelier.
You can book private rooms that seat up to 6 people as well. Each room has a different theme. Here is “the red room”.
The menu is simplistic with only a few fishes in each category. Prices are on the relatively high side, with salads going for ₩17,000 ~ 19,000 KRW ($15 ~ 17 USD), and mains costing a minimum of ₩29,000 ($32 USD).
The menu also explains the restaurant name, which means to be bright, daring and joyful.
Here is the grilled cod, which goes for ₩30,000 ($27 USD).
Next up, the truffle pasta which costs ₩32,000 ($29 USD).
The ravioli for ₩29,000 ($26 USD)
Chicken salad with fresh greens for ₩17,000 ($15 USD)
Galbi stones for ₩15,000 ($13 USD) per three pieces.
Lastly, salted chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream goes for ₩14,000 ($12 USD).
We would love to give this place a try! What do you guys think?
