Singer Jo Young Nam Admits He Regrets Cheating On Youn Yuh Jung Which Led To Their Divorce
In a recent episode of KBS‘s AM Plaza, singer Jo Young Nam spoke up about his ex-wife, Youn Yuh Jung, and his regrets regarding their relationship.
While talking about his 40s, Jo Young Nam brought up that that was when he divorced Youn Yuh Jung.
We divorced because I cheated on her.

And he expressed his regret about what he did.
I don’t understand why I cheated on her when we had kids together. I was stupid. I feel really sorry.

When asked if he watches all of her work, Jo Young Nam shared that she has his full support.
I even watched ‘Minari’ the first day it came out.

He even went on to describe leaving Youn Yuh Jung and his sons as his biggest regret.
Youn Yuh Jung and Jo Young Nam got married in the States back in 1974 and got divorced in 1987, and they share two sons.
Following an impressive career in Korea, Youn Yuh Jung is currently receiving international recognition for her performance in Minari.
