YG Entertainment Reveals They Are In Positive Discussions With Apink’s Son Naeun For An Exclusive Contract
Previously, it was reported that girl group Apink’s contracts are up for renewal again. However, while the remaining 5 members have decided to renew their contracts with Play M, Son Naeun has decided to leave the company.
It was reported by Ilgan Sports that Son Naeun had been a free agent after leaving PlayM and allegedly, she had been in talks with YG Entertainment consistently since the beginning of April. YG Entertainment has since released an official statement regarding the matter.
On April 29, 2021, a representative from YG Entertainment shared with media outlet Sports DongA, that they were in positive discussions with Son Naeun regarding an exclusive management contract.
This may not come as a surprise to longtime fans of Naeun, given that her sister, golf athlete Son Sae Eun is signed to YG Sports, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment. Stay tuned for more updates!
