BTS Enter The Guinness World Records 2022 Hall Of Fame
BTS are Hall of Famers!
With a total of 23 records, BTS have entered the Guinness World Records 2022 Hall of Fame. Guinness World Records announced it on their website earlier, leading up to the announcement with kind words about the group.
‘Even in the far future, never forget the you of right now,’ sing K-pop princes BTS (South Korea) in their single ‘Tomorrow’.
It’s just one of the many lines written by the record-breaking band that resonated with the international public. They certainly haven’t forgotten their ‘you of right now’, ever-changing and yet able to remain true to themselves.
This constant strive for excellence and relatability — paired to an upbeat sound and jaw-dropping choreographies — is the secret ingredient of what is arguably the hit band of the moment.
Without further ado, we are delighted to welcome BTS to our Guinness World Records Hall of Fame.

Although Guinness World Records is used to seeing records being broke and history being made every day, even BTS continue to amaze them as they acknowledged the incredible feat of BTS’s “jaw-dropping 23 Guinness World Records titles across music and social media.” Still, they also recognized that all of it was made possible with both the members and ARMY.
As of today, Guinness has announced that they have beat British rock band Coldplay for being the most streamed group on Spotify. They also have the most-streamed song on the music streaming service in the first 24 hours with “Butter.”
2021 has been an incredible year for BTS. “Butter” became the song of the summer and “single-handedly snatched five records,” including most viewers for a YouTube music video premiere, beating their own record held with “Dynamite.” “Butter” also holds the record for being the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours.
They are, to no surprise, the most followed music act on Instagram. They also have the most engagements (average retweets) on Twitter as a music group, which is a record that they themselves “have topped four times!”

BTS truly rule social media, not just Twitter or YouTube. They achieved the fastest time to gain their first one million followers on TikTok. Their current following is 672.4M followers as of September 2, 2021.
Now, we all know how wild it can be to try to obtain BTS concert tickets. Yet, even their digital concerts are unlike any other. Guinness World Records revealed that BTS have sold the most tickets for a live-streamed concert, with 756,000 sold.
We’re incredibly proud of all BTS have accomplished, and we know this is just the beginning! They deserve all of their success.
