BTS’s V Has A Total Oopsie Moment While On His VLIVE Broadcast
BTS has kicked off their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California and ARMYs have been loving all the content that comes with their in person concerts! From the concert itself, to Weverse posts, Twitter updates, and VLIVEs, ARMYs are full with content.
The boys kicked off their first of four concerts on Saturday November 27th, and had many notable things happen on their first night back together with ARMY since before the pandemic. One of those being the VMINKOOK (V, Jimin, Jungkook subunit) VLIVE we all got after the concert!
On the three part series, V started the live streams with Jimin, eventually bringing in Jungkook where they played games, chatted, and read through comments from fans.
One moment in particular had ARMYs cracking up even without subtitles.
In the second part of their VLIVE stream titled “Come on”, (not to be confused by their third video titled “It’s Part 2”), V brings Jimin and Jungkook over in a way that was giving very much radio host (his show even has a title Purple Purple V Purple).
On Saturday night’s VLIVE, the boys were talking about how V is actually the worst when it comes to spicy food.
V then shared that he’s so bad with spicy foods that he can’t even eat Shin Ramyun (a famous Korean instant ramen brand).
Jimin immediately caught V’s slip up and started laughing and V’s reaction is hilarious!
Jungkook tried to save the day by asking if V meant a “new ramen” (since the word “shin” in Korean can mean also “new”).
V caught on and said that he had been talking about ramen that had gone bad (since “shin” can also mean “sour” in the sense of when food expires).
We don’t know for certain why exactly V had that reaction to not censoring out the brand, but ARMYs have a few guesses. It’s no secret that BTS are brand kings. Whatever they wear, use, or eat has a lot of ARMYs going out and buying the same thing, with the product eventually selling out.

This has actually happened so much that Jungkook has stopped sharing the brands of things he uses so that he can still buy them for himself. 
ARMYs also brought up the fact that BTS doesn’t have a brand sponsorship/collab with Nongshim (creator of Shin Ramyun) and that’s why V wasn’t supposed to say it.
Either way, ARMYs had a good laugh about the adorably hilarious moment on Twitter.

Unfortunately, the damage was done since it was pretty obvious V had meant Shin Ramyun!
The boys ended the VLIVE quickly and moved onto Part 3 for a clean slate, with hopes that Shin Ramyun won’t be sold out everywhere once they return back home!
