As a K-Pop fan, you know that SM Entertainment‘s annual Halloween party SMTOWN Wonderland is essentially our version of the Met Gala, as many of our favorite idols attend dressed in elaborate costumes unlike any other.
All of this year’s costumes taking their rightful place on the HALL-OW-FAME

This year was no exception as all those in attendance absolutely slayed with their fits. It’s no surprise, of course.

Still, there was one unexpected individual who stole the show, and the amazing thing is we couldn’t even see them! It’s none other than SM Entertainment’s social media manager!
They had a nearly impossible task of keeping everyone in attendance and fans who wish they could have been entertained.

Throughout the entire evening, they kept followers on all social media platforms updated. From Twitter to Instagram to TikTok—you name it!

On Twitter, with each idol’s arrival, they shared multiple photos that perfectly highlighted their original costume. For anyone still wondering as to who they were, they identified both the idol and their character!
BOO!
#ONEW has arrived at the SM Halloween House as ‘The Penguin’!

Instagram, however, was where the social media manager’s talents truly shined! They regularly updated the Instagram Stories, like Twitter, with each one’s arrival.
Their additions, such as GIFs and captions, were what really captivated followers, leaving everyone wanting more.

The humor and heart behind each post were just right. It was thoroughly entertaining.
All of the pop culture references were awesome. They 100% understood their assignment.
The fact that they understood that this is not just a polar bear… It’s one of the iconic Coca-Cola polar bears!
They even know all of the fandoms’ inside jokes!
They referenced both Spider-Mark and Yuta being an IRL anime character.
Can we talk about the clever references to the NCT and aespa songs here? Iconic!
The Instagram Stories was also frequently updated. The social media manager would post something, sparking our curiosity only to come back a little later with a follow-up.
“I’m so curious, yeah!”
The consistency is just *chef’s kiss!*
You’ll never catch this social media manager sleeping on the job. That’s for sure!
While each post was honestly immaculate, their Twilight ones for NCT’s Jungwoo and Taeyong as Bella and Edward were simply flawless.
From using Christina Perri‘s “A Thousand Years” as sound to using some of the most iconic quotes as captions, it’s all too good.
Several of the posts were interactive, too, using features such as polls. No one was left out of this party!
They even offered us a treat… Cupcake anyone?
This poll is too cute!
They also gave an inside look at the party. Whoever was in charge of the social media that night made sure to give lots of videos and photos of the party’s atmosphere that helped to make us feel like we were right there too!
Candy? Don’t mind if we do…
It didn’t end there either. The effort in producing several creative TikToks at the party with the idols is 100% applaudable.

The fact that they talked SHINee‘s Onew and Super Junior‘s Siwon into filming. The editing of them together as the Penguin and Batman is perfection.
Not only that, but having a series of “Choose Your Character” videos is also so genius.

The usage of their own artist’s songs/sounds for many of the videos was also a brilliant move on their part. Not only does it fit the concepts’ so well, but it’s great marketing!

They’re always on the trends too! The Squid Game references are everything.
Oh my gosh! Didn’t you know Harley Quinn is a savage?

We have no choice but to stan the company’s social media manager! They deserve a raise for sure.
