Meet The Members Of MLD Entertainment’s Upcoming Girl Group LAPILLUS
MLD Entertainment is gearing up for the release of their new girl group, LAPILLUS, sharing the first teaser for LAPILLUS’s upcoming music video “FLAME.”
LAPILLUS will be MLD Entertainment’s second girl group after MOMOLAND.
The group comprises six members, including Chanty, a well-known model and actress, and Shana, a contestant on Girls Planet 999.
The first member introduced on LAPILLUS’s official Twitter account was Shana.
Shana was born on March 13th, 2003, in Japan. She competed on Mnet‘s Girls Planet 999, finishing 16th on the show. Given her impressive performances on the survival show, fans can eagerly anticipate hearing more of her incredible vocal ability. And will hopefully get to see some adorable interactions between her and her friend Kep1er‘s Hikaru.
The second member to be introduced was Haeun.
Haeun was born on November 2nd, 2008. She is the group’s maknae, debuting at just 13 years old. At the moment, not much else is known about her.
The third member to be introduced was Seowon.
Seowon was born on December 5th, 2006. Seowon attended Wolgye Middle School, but not much else is known about her at this time.
The fourth member to be introduced was Yue.
Yue, whose birth name is Nancy Yang, was born on July 3rd, 2004. Yue speaks Korean, English, Chinese, and French. She secured her place as a trainee of MLD Entertainment, where she’s been training for the past two years, by auditioning via V-Square. V-Square hosts online auditions for entertainment agencies hoping to find global trainees. Yue auditioned via V-Square in 2018 and was in the top 18 out of 800 applicants. Given her impressive result, fans can anticipate what talented skills Yue might show.
The fifth member to be introduced was Bessie.
Bessie was born on July 15th, 2004. At the moment, not much more is known about her.
And the last member to be introduced through LAPILLUS’s official Twitter was Chanty.
Chanty was born on December 15th, 2002, in the Philippines. She spent her childhood in Argentina before moving back to the Philippines to start her incredibly successful modeling and acting career. In the Philippines, Chanty was signed to Star Magic, one of the biggest agencies. Like Yue, Chanty speaks four languages: Korean, English, Tagalog, and Spanish. Fans are eagerly awaiting hearing more of her incredible vocal talent and seeing how her acting experience helps form her performances.
