2NE1 Spent 7 Years Rejecting Requests For A Group Reunion, Sandara Park Spills On Why
Despite how excited fans were to see the 2NE1 members reunite for a surprise Coachella stage, many wondered why the group didn’t do so sooner. Sandara Park (also known as Dara) explained why they previously turned down all the opportunities.
On Radio Star, Sandara Park admitted that 2NE1 received tons of requests for a group reunion. She said, “During the past seven years, we actually received many offers. Not just from broadcasting stations but also awards ceremonies.”
Despite all the chances they had to reunite, Sandara Park revealed that “it never worked out” for all the members.
But when CL asked the group about Coachella, they couldn’t let the chance slip by and “agreed to go right away.” Still, they had to overcome obstacles to make that reunion happen.
Because the members are so busy with their solo careers, reuniting isn’t as easy as it seems.
