BTS’s Jungkook Receives A Birthday Shoutout With An Unexpected Twist On A U.S. News Station
BTS‘s maknae recently turned 26 years old, and ARMYs around the world rushed to wish Jungkook a happy birthday.
Each year, ARMYs come up with creative ways to make their birthday wishes for the BTS member stand out.
One fan hilariously posted a birthday ad for Jungkook in front of an apartment building in Korea with the name “IAN” as a funny reference to Jungkook’s original TikTok username, which caught the attention of the BTS member himself.

Another creative ARMY came up with a unique way to wish Jungkook a happy birthday and even got him some airtime on their local news station.
A news station in Topeka, Kansas, wished Jungkook a happy birthday, and instead of a recent photo showing up on the screen, a pre-debut photo of the BTS member was what appeared.
Not only was a pre-debut photo used, but the anchor hilariously wished Jungkook a happy 10th birthday, as the ARMY submitted him for the birthday wishes segment with a younger age written down.
After wishing him a happy birthday, the anchor complimented Jungkook on his hairstyle, saying, “I wish I could pull that off, but I can’t.”

The ARMY who nominated Jungkook for the birthday shoutout clarified that it was all in good fun and was sent with “all the love in the world.”
Fellow ARMYs undoubtedly found the humor in it as they reacted to the unexpected shoutout in the comments of the video posted.
