The Directors For BTS’s “No More Dream” Music Video Once Revealed What Working With Bang Si Hyuk Was Like
Bang Si Hyuk, the CEO of BTS‘s agency, is quite a perfectionist.
Bang PD monitored our performances so strictly that he would press the space bar for our practice videos. If our angles weren’t correct, we would have to practice again.

YouTube channel AYO once invited veteran music video directors Kim Jun Hong and Hong Won Gi from ZANYBROS in a “Comment Defenders” video. In the video, they spoke a bit about what working with Bang Si Hyuk was like.
Kim Jun Hong and Hong Won Gi have worked with BTS many times and were directors for some of their music videos, such as “No More Dream” and “War of Hormone.”
These two read a comment from someone who compared the sets of one of BTS’s earlier music videos to a more recent one and said that there was a “big difference.” While BTS is successful now, they didn’t have much money when they debuted.
Kim Jun Hong and Hong Won Gi, however, shared that the set for the “No More Dream” music video, which was BTS’s debut music video, wasn’t cheap.
Kim Jun Hong then shared that Bang Si Hyuk “wasn’t a petty person who didn’t invest in contents.”
If Bang Si Hyuk saw footage where the BTS members weren’t captured that well, he would immediately contact the directors and say, “Let’s film another cut for this.”
